Graduating with my CBT/REBT Diploma: A New Chapter Begins
A Milestone Achievement
Today marks a significant milestone in my journey: I’ve graduated with a Diploma in CBT/REBT from The College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. This achievement represents not just a certification, but a deep dive into powerful therapeutic techniques that I’m now using to help clients achieve their goals.
The Journey by the Numbers
Getting here took dedication and persistence. Here’s what went into this qualification:
- A comprehensive skills-based examination
- 8 hours of intensive study group practice
- 30 hours of eco-friendly commuting by bicycle
- 12 detailed self-reflection diaries applying CBT principles to my own life
- 84 face-to-face hours of lectures and practical skills development
- 48,571 words of academic writing across study questions, an essay, and a case study
Gratitude and Looking Forward
I’m incredibly grateful to our exceptional tutors - Avy Joseph, Beverly Harper, and Ian Martin - whose expertise and guidance were invaluable. The journey was made even more enriching by my fellow students, whose enthusiasm and support created an amazing learning environment.
This is just the beginning - I’m excited to announce that I’ll be starting the Advanced Diploma in October. The opportunity to deepen my knowledge and further refine my skills in helping others is something I’m really looking forward to.
As I reflect on this achievement, I’m reminded of how these therapeutic tools have transformed my own life, and I’m more passionate than ever about sharing these benefits with others.
